This week I got the outstanding privilege to interview our new assistant principal. Turns out he’s a really cool dude. Believe it or not, he was a starting point guard in the Championship team at Wesley College. So, of course he loves our Brandywine Basketball team. He was actually born in Turkey, because his father was in the air force. Before he was our assistant principal, he was in business and worked with people all day. He told me that he was a manager and so that’s why he’s so good at working with the Bulldogs here at Brandywine. “When I was your age I enjoyed Science most”, he reflects. Mr. Waite’s favorite music is R&B like Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Michael Jackson, and Luther Vandross. When speaking to him he said that he was inspired by the students of Brandywine his first days here. He loves our school, getting to know each and every one of us, and the “rich diversity and tremendous talent” of our school. Keep it up Bulldogs and say “hey” next time you see him!
